Macrobotix provides large scale autonomous solutions to avoid safety risks in the construction sector. Macrobotix works with industry to identify the problems of greatest value to solve with automation. Our first solution to one of the industry's problems is a giant hydraulic robot for autonomously painting buildings up to 8m high. This robot will significantly reduce the amount of fall and injection-related injures in the construction sector by keeping people on the ground and away from high-pressure equipment.
Looking at the big picture, Macrobotix works to upgrade jobs at the human level, combining 20 years experience in change management with modern neuroscience leadership to provide people with the training, communications and engagement that ensure smooth
transitions from the dull, dirty and dangerous jobs of today to the desirable jobs of tomorrow.
Macrobotix was one of the 12 global finalists in the 2015 IEEE Intelligent Roboticus Startup Competition in Hamburg, Germany. As part of the initial development phase, Macrobotix conducted a large amount of research into the current market by attending various painting and robotics conferences and completed market validation with 30 industry representatives.
2015:
Macrobotix began development of the "Skyline Printer" autonomous painting robot.
2019:
Macrobotix began subcontracting commercial jobs via an expanding network of industry partners.
